With the recent introduction of the energy efficiency grants from EfficiencyPEI, you can save thousands on making your energy efficient renovations. The grants offer thousands of dollars in rebates for the installation of Insulation, Air Sealing, and EnergyStar Windows and Doors. The grants don’t just stop there, there are additional incentives for efficient home heating and cooling systems.
Some of the grants being offered are dependant on your income level. For those that earn over $35,000 per year or more, your savings look like this:
Ductless Heat Pump Rebate: $1,200
Geothermal Heat Pump Rebate: $4,000
Oil Furnace Rebate: $500
Windows, Doors, and Skylight Rebate: $100 per window opening to a maximum of $1000/property for ENERGY STAR zone 3 products
